COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE

Redcliffe Pink Snapdragons and Redcliffe Red Dragons take their responsibilities to their members and community seriously. As we carefully monitor and abide by the current Covid-19 (Coronavirus) rules and regulations, we are actively taking steps to ensure the safety of our members and their families as well as the wider community.

PLEASE NOTE: these times are Winter Season training times.

Pink Snapdragons, Social and Beginners 

Saturday Morning
– 7.00 am to 8.30/9.00 am (please arrive at 6.30 am for sign on, warm up etc)

Red Dragons Sports (competitive sports training for regattas)

Saturday Morning – Sports & Beginners 
– 7.00 am to 8.30/9.00 am (please arrive at 6.30 am for sign on, warm up etc)

Monday Evening – Sports
– 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm (please arrive at 6.00 pm for sign on, warm up etc)

Wednesday Evening – Sports
– 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm (please arrive at 5.30 pm for sign on, warm up etc)

 

 

If the weather is too wet (raining) to go out on the water then the training moves to land based training. Training will only be cancelled if the weather turns really bad. Please check personal emails and the Red Dragons Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/CallingRedcliffeRedDragons for changes to training sessions in inclement weather.

On arrival:

  • Sign On if you are a new paddler (This is to cover insurance)
  • Organise a Paddle from the shed in our compound.
  • Organise a Life Jacket if you can’t swim 50 metres, also in the shed.
  • Place car keys in container on table next to sign on sheet.
  • Start warm up exercises.

Costs: 

What to Wear / Bring: 

  • Comfortable exercise gear (ie – Shorts or 3/4 pants, T-shirt/Singlet)
  • Hat and Sunscreen for day
  • Insect Repellent for evening paddles
  • Aqua Shoes, Crocs or Joggers – no bare feet
  • Water Bottle
  • and a sense of humour! 

Anything else you can find that’s pink! and remember it’s a water sport so you might get wet!

There are toilets, change rooms and shower facilities available and open during all training sessions.

After Training:

On Saturday mornings we have breakfast, coffee & a chat after training at Preeces Cafe on Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe.
